As the smaller shinigami landed on the chimney top he would hear a round of applause from Kaito behind him, "Well done kid, your first successful shunpo." Kaito would swiftly use his own shunpo to appear on the opposite side of the chimney to Ty, the wind was definately stronger a few feet off the rooftop, it nearly knocked Kaito backwards. "Next on the list of things to do. Confidence." Kaito disappeared again, this time reappearing out in between the building they were stood on, and the next one along; using his reiatsu to keep him from falling down onto the street below. The wind was stronger out here, Kaito had to shout to be heard, "Stand on the edge of the roof. Use your reiatsu to keep you up and walk towards me." He held his right hand around his mouth to boost the sound of his voice, when he had finished talking he lowered it to his side, and stood waiting for Ty to walk out. His shihakuso and ponytail whipping about wildly in the wind.

Ty had always been familiar with the phrase "Don't look down." and he certainly wasn't planning on doing so anytime soon. The task seemed to be simple at the most. All he had to do was concentrate reiatsu into his feet so that he could make his way towards Kaito. He closed his eyes and took a step forward. When he opened his eyes, his foot stood on plain air. Hesitantly, he brought his other foot to its brother. A sigh of relief sounded as he now stood high above the concrete earth below. Taking a deep breath he began taking steps forward. With each step, a small vibration could be felt under his feet. Maybe this was what it was like for first time users. The wind blew his robes against his body, and it helped him walk better because of them being bigger than his own body. Within minutes, he would make it towards Kaito. His eyes were wide with shock as he made it across. "I thought I was going to fall for a moment." he said as he fell to his knees, happy to be on some sort of ground.

Kaito smiled and nodded as the boy made his way out, seemingly with no trouble at all this time around; definitely a good sign that he was getting the hang of the technique. "Okay.." The boy said, "Now, we put the two together," He grinned, this was where it could all go tits up, "Shunpo, whilst being over a large drop." Kaito proceeded to demonstrate, hoping to three various locations, then reappearing back in front of Ty, "Don't go too far, I might need to catch you, haha." He may have laughed, but Kaito didn't want to be responsible for an accident when Ty was under his supervision.

Ty grunted at the thought of Kaito having to catch him. "You make it look so easy..." he mumbled softly as he took baby steps towards the edge of the building. Those were some serious jumps that Kaito had pulled. Ty knew he would have to concentrate harder than he had been at first if he'd ever even hoped to move like that. His teeth locked together as he flexed his fingers. "Okay..." He pressed his left foot forward into the edge of the building. Letting out a breath, Ty kicked his right foot swiftly against the ground, causing him to launch forward. The rushing wind caused his eyes to water slightly. It was sort of like being on a roller coaster ride as he rushed towards the ground. His eyes couldn't have gotten any wider than they already were when he realized his goal was the M.O.

His teeth stayed clenched together as he exerted reiatsu from his feet. Instead of standing on it, he jumped. In doing so, he seemingly vanished for a couple of seconds and reappeared a few feet higher in the air. He looked down to see the ground growing farther away from him. A sharp pain shot through his head suddenly. He'd been too distracted to notice the building he'd just ran head first into. "Ow..." he moaned as he gripped the cracks in the building to stay onto it.

His attention was back as he kicked off of the building and exerted reiatsu once again, his body speeding upwards towards the building he'd started from. He didn't get as many jumps in as Kaito did, but he figured he'd done enough. Once his feet hit the building, he started to run up. His feet tapped against the building until he finally reached the rooftop. He gripped the ledge and barreled over it. A sigh of relief sounded from him as he got to his feet, expecting Kaito's feedback.
